Placements24 is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for a fully remote role focused on national infrastructure projects across South Africa. You will apply your expertise in civil design, planning, and technical consultation to support diverse programs from a home office.

You must be registered with ECSA, hold a Master’s in Civil Engineering, and bring at least 10 years of progressive infrastructure experience. Strong communication and remote collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Registered with ECSA or eligible for registration.
• At least 10 years of progressive civil infrastructure experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical guidance and design oversight for national civil projects.
• Conduct remote feasibility studies, concepts, and detailed plans.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and consultants via virtual platforms.
• Review drawings, calculations and technical reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure designs meet national standards, regs and environmental requirements.
• Mentor junior staff remotely and participate in virtual meetings.
