Placements24, on behalf of an international engineering consultancy, seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team on a fully remote basis in South Africa. You will lead design and oversight of infrastructure projects, working with international teams from your home office.

The role requires a BEng in Civil Engineering, PrEng with ECSA, at least 9 years of experience in infrastructure design and project management, and proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent required.
• Professional registration as a Pr. Eng. with ECSA is essential.
• Minimum 9 years of progressive experience in civil engineering with infrastructure focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of civil infrastructure projects (roads, water, sanitation).
• Manage project lifecycles from feasibility to construction support.
• Ensure designs meet South African standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with clients, managers, and remote teams.
• Review technical reports, drawings, and specs.
