Placements24 is partnering with a prominent international engineering and consulting firm to recruit a Senior Civil Engineer specialized in Infrastructure Planning for a fully remote role. You will shape long-term infrastructure strategies across transportation, utilities, and land development, engaging stakeholders across geographies.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Urban Planning, Pr. Eng.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field with infrastructure focus.
• Pr. Eng. or equivalent international registration is essential.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure planning and policy development.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary infrastructure planning projects.
• Proficiency in GIS and data analysis tools.
• Strong sustainability principles in infrastructure development.
• Excellent virtual communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of strategic infrastructure master plans and feasibility studies for large-scale projects.
• Conduct needs assessments, demand forecasting, and scenario planning for utilities, transport, and energy.
• Analyze assets, identify deficiencies, and propose upgrade strategies.
• Develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and funding strategies.
• Collaborate virtually with multidisciplinary teams across geographies.
• Prepare high-level design concepts, policy recommendations, and regulatory strategies.
• Engage with clients, government bodies, and international organizations remotely.
• Mentor junior engineers and planners within the remote team.
• Stay abreast of global trends and best practices in infrastructure planning.
