Job summary

Placements24 seeks a seasoned Remote Senior Civil Engineer with extensive experience in Transportation Infrastructure. This fully remote role leads the design and planning of complex road, highway, and public transit projects nationwide, collaborating with managers, designers, and stakeholders in a virtual environment.

You will mentor junior engineers, oversee projects from concept through construction, and coordinate with clients and agencies to ensure success and compliance.

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering with Transportation specialization.
• 10+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design and project management.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and traffic simulation tools.
• Experience managing large-scale transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of highway, roadway, and interchange projects.
• Conduct traffic analysis, capacity studies, and geometric design using industry-standard software.
• Prepare comprehensive design reports, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff remotely.
• Coordinate with clients, government agencies, and other consultants to ensure project success and compliance.
