Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Senior Chemical Process Engineer to join a globally distributed team. You will design, optimize, and troubleshoot chemical processes from a remote setting, leveraging simulation tools and data analytics to drive efficiency and safety across multiple sites.

The role requires a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and 8+ years of experience, with proficiency in Aspen Plus and HYSYS, and strong remote collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
• 8+ years of experience in chemical process design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with process simulation software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and data analysis tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and autonomously in a fully remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and optimization of chemical processes using advanced simulation software and process modeling techniques.
• Develop detailed PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications.
• Conduct PHAs and implement robust safety management remotely.
• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting to manufacturing sites via virtual tools.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage process engineering aspects of capital projects with remote oversight.
