Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a driven Sales Development Representative to open doors and build a robust pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel, researching accounts, identifying decision-makers and booking first meetings to drive qualified opportunities for our Account Executives.

You will craft personalized outreach using LinkedIn, email and phone, maintain Salesforce and SalesLoft records, and continuously test messaging to improve targeting and results.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
