Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking meetings with qualified decision makers.

Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to maintain high-quality touches, build contact lists, and coordinate with the sales team to maximize conversion rates.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR or similar role.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiar with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
