Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel: researching accounts, identifying decision makers and booking qualified discovery calls.

The ideal candidate has 2 years in SDR/BDR roles, strong written communication, and familiarity with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo, plus Salesforce for pipeline management.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
