Blacksmith Agency is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will research, source and book meetings with key decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

This role focuses on thoughtful outbound outreach using LinkedIn, email, and phone, leveraging tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality touches.

Qualifications

• 2 years SDR or similar experience is preferred.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
