Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors across South Africa, building the top of the funnel and generating qualified meetings for Account Executives. You will research accounts, identify decision makers, and craft personalized outreach campaigns using LinkedIn, email, and phone.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in SDR/BDR roles, preferably in SaaS or agency settings, strong writing skills, and comfort with Salesforce and outreach tools.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts basing on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
