Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel—researching, sourcing, and booking meetings with qualified decision makers to drive pipeline.

You will use LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to maintain high-quality outreach and volume. Ideal candidates have 2 years in SDR/BDR roles, strong written communication, and familiarity with outbound tools.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication with personalized outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
