Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking motivated Sales Development Representatives to own the top of the funnel across South Africa, researching accounts, targeting decision makers and booking meetings to drive pipeline.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while keeping every touchpoint personal and high quality. This is a remote, full-time role with regional pipeline responsibilities across South Africa.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication with ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools: Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
• Experience using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Grit, curiosity and coachability.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
