Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to join our team across South Africa. In this remote role you will research accounts, identify decision makers and craft outreach sequences to create qualified opportunities for our Account Executives.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to build pipelines, maintain accurate records and continuously improve messaging. Drive hits, book discovery calls and help grow our SA client base.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
