Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to open doors and build the pipeline across South Africa. You will research accounts, identify decision makers, and book meetings for our Account Executives, while representing Blacksmith with thoughtful outreach.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to target high-potential prospects, maintain clean data, and hit volume goals with quality touches that reflect the brand.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication with the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiar with outbound tools: Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
