Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel, researching accounts, sourcing contacts, and booking meetings with qualified decision makers to create a strong first impression of Blacksmith.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to execute thoughtful outreach, maintain accurate CRM records, and collaborate with Account Executives to hit

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role or similar.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
