Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is hiring a Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel from research to booking qualified meetings across South Africa. You will craft personalized outreach using LinkedIn, email and phone, while maintaining data in Salesforce and SalesLoft.

This is a full-time remote role within South Africa. You should have 2 years in SDR/BDR or similar, strong written communication, and comfort with outbound tools.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
