Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline.

As part of the team, you will own the top of the funnel: researching ICP accounts, identifying decision makers, crafting personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone, and booking qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives. You will maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft and continually test messaging to improve targeting.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role.
• Strong written communication with ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools: Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
