Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative to open doors across South Africa. You will research target accounts, identify decision makers and craft personal outreach to generate first meetings for our Account Executives.

You will manage outreach via LinkedIn, email and phone, maintain data in Salesforce and SalesLoft, and continuously test messaging to improve response rates.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in SDR/BDR or similar role, preferably in SaaS or agency.
• Excellent written communication with ability to personalize outreach.
• Experience using outbound tools and CRM to manage pipelines.
• Grit, curiosity and coachability.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and feedback with the sales team.
