Job summary

Ndc Personnel is seeking a Remote Payroll Specialist to manage all aspects of payroll processing for South African employees in a fully remote role. You will ensure accurate and timely payroll runs, manage statutory deductions, and maintain payroll records in compliance with relevant legislation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or Administrator.
• Solid knowledge of South African payroll legislation and tax regulations.
• Proficiency with payroll software systems such as VIP Payroll or Sage Payroll.
• Strong HR process understanding related to payroll.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll accurately and efficiently.
• Manage statutory deductions including PAYE, UIF and SDL.
• Ensure compliance with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and related legislation.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and update changes as needed.
• Process new hires, terminations and employee status changes.
• Reconcile payroll reports and address discrepancies promptly.
