Signal Hill Products is seeking a meticulous Remote Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for a nationwide workforce from a remote location.

You will process bi-weekly or monthly payroll, handle deductions, ensure compliance with SA laws, and respond to employee payroll queries while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.
• Strong understanding of South African payroll legislation and tax requirements.
• Proficiency with payroll software (VIP Payroll, Sage 300 People) and HRIS systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

Responsabilidades

• Process accurate and timely payroll for all employees bi-weekly or monthly.
• Manage employee data: new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation or status.
• Calculate and process statutory deductions (PAYE, UIF, SDL).
• Reconcile payroll reports and post to the general ledger.
• Stay updated on payroll regulations, tax laws, and best practices.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits promptly.

Key Responsibilities
