Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Payroll Accountant to manage SA payroll operations from any location. You will handle full-cycle payroll, ensure compliance with PAYE, UIF, SDL, and maintain accurate employee records in a fully remote setup.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of hands-on payroll processing experience, strong knowledge of SA payroll legislation, and proficiency in VIP or Sage along with MS Office.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Accounting, Payroll Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing and accounting.
• Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., VIP, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of South African payroll legislation, tax laws, and labor regulations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage workload effectively and meet strict deadlines in a remote environment.
