Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Accountant for a fully remote role servicing employees across South Africa. You will ensure accurate payroll processing, administer benefits, and ensure compliance with SA tax and labor laws while maintaining confidential payroll data.

Ideal candidates have a National Diploma or degree in accounting/finance or HR, with proven payroll experience and strong Excel skills.

• Thorough understanding of South African payroll legislation and tax requirements.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills for virtual interactions.

Responsibilities
