Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Residential Property Portfolio Manager to oversee a large SA portfolio. You will manage tenant relations, rent collection, and maintenance coordination from a fully remote setup, ensuring high occupancy and profitability.

The role requires 3–5 years of residential property management experience, strong knowledge of SA rental laws, and proficiency with major property management platforms.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in residential property management.
• Knowledge of South African rental laws and tenancy agreements.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, especially in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Proficiency with property management software and MS Office.
• Diploma or degree in Property Management or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a designated portfolio of residential rental properties remotely.
• Oversee tenant acquisition, screening, leases, and move-in/move-out processes.
• Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests efficiently.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and third-party vendors for repairs and upkeep.
• Manage rent collection, delinquency, and evictions per legal requirements.
• Conduct regular virtual property inspections and assessments.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports to property owners.
• Ensure compliance with landlord-tenant laws and company policies across jurisdictions.
