Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Property Management, Business Admin, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in property portfolio management, asset management, or related role.
• Experience managing a diverse portfolio of commercial and/or residential properties.
• Strong understanding of leasing principles, property operations, and financial management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
• Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI) and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with the South African property market and regulations is advantageous.

This role is entirely remote, offering the flexibility to work from any location with a stable internet connection. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing the value and performance of the assigned property portfolio through strategic leasing, effective property management, and proactive financial oversight. You will liaise with tenants, property managers, maintenance teams, and financial institutions to ensure smooth operations, tenant satisfaction, and optimal financial returns. This is a critical position requiring a blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong communication skills to manage assets effectively from a distance.
