Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Property Portfolio Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial assets. Working entirely remotely, you will develop and execute portfolio strategies, manage budgets, oversee property operations, and maintain strong tenant relations across multiple locations.

You will lead remote teams and service providers, monitor performance, conduct virtual inspections, and ensure compliance with lease requirements and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management or portfolio management.
• Experience managing diverse property types (residential, commercial, industrial).
• Ability to develop and execute strategic portfolio management plans.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management skills.
• Leadership and vendor management experience in remote contexts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with property management software and relevant tech platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the value and financial performance of the property portfolio.
• Oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and capital improvements, remotely.
• Manage annual budgets, financial reporting, and performance analysis for each property within the portfolio.
• Select, manage, and provide oversight for third-party property management teams and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and lease requirements.
• Conduct regular property inspections (virtually or through local representation) and performance reviews.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement across the portfolio.
• Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders regarding portfolio performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with tenants, owners, and other key parties.
