Placements24 is actively seeking a Real Estate Data Scientist to drive data-led decisions in real estate markets, forecasting property values and investment performance. You will collect, clean, and analyze large datasets covering property markets, consumer behavior, and economy indicators, and build models to forecast trends.

The role emphasizes remote collaboration with engineers, PMs, and analysts while focusing on Randburg and broader Gauteng markets.

Qualifikationen

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field (data science, statistics, CS, economics, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data science with statistical modeling and ML.
• Proficiency in Python or R and libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; able to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in real estate data is highly desirable and remote work capability is required.
