Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Quality Systems Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and upkeep of the Quality Management System for a manufacturing client. This fully remote role emphasizes ISO 9001 compliance, data-driven improvements, and cross-functional governance.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in quality systems within manufacturing, strong audit and CAPA skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across dispersed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
• 7+ years in QA or Quality Systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 QMS.
• Strong audit, RCA, and CAPA capabilities.
• Excellent remote communication and self-management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) to ISO 9001 standards.
• Conduct internal and external quality audits remotely, ensuring compliance and identifying improvements.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and implement CAPA actions.
• Collaborate virtually with manufacturing, engineering and R&D teams to integrate quality considerations.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation including procedures and work instructions.
• Provide guidance and training to remote and on-site teams on quality system requirements.
• Monitor key quality metrics and report to senior management.
• Act as liaison with regulatory bodies and customer auditors as required.
• Support qualification and validation of new manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance.
• Ensure all quality systems are effectively managed from a remote location.
