Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA across manufacturing lines. This fully remote role oversees developing, implementing, and managing quality control systems from a distance, guiding a distributed team of QA professionals to uphold high standards throughout the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, at least 7 years QA experience with 3+ in management, and proven ISO 9001 implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the manufacturing sector, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools and methodologies.
• Excellent remote leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage quality assurance strategies and procedures for all product lines.
• Oversee the entire quality control process, from raw material inspection to final product testing and validation.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of Quality Assurance specialists, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve issues and improve product reliability.
• Collaborate with remote manufacturing and engineering teams to address quality concerns and drive product improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications.
