Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Quality Assurance Specialist to maintain and improve product quality in a fully remote environment. You will lead QA systems development, audits, and CAPA initiatives across R&D and manufacturing.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QA/QC within manufacturing or R&D, strong ISO knowledge, and excellent documentation and communication abilities for remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field (e.g., Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a manufacturing or R&D environment.
• Proven expertise in developing and implementing QA systems, methodologies, and documentation.
• Strong understanding of quality management principles, statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards is essential.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex quality concepts.
• Proficiency in using QA software tools and data analysis software.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Experience with quality documentation and reporting is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive quality assurance plans and procedures.
• Oversee the quality control processes for all stages of product development and manufacturing, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Conduct thorough internal audits and assessments of quality systems and processes.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate closely with R&D, engineering, and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve product performance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO certifications).
• Develop and deliver quality training programs to relevant personnel.
• Manage customer feedback related to quality and work towards resolution.
• Stay abreast of advancements in quality assurance methodologies and technologies.
