Placements24 is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to drive QA initiatives in manufacturing from a remote home office. The role requires deep knowledge of quality systems, SPC, Six Sigma, and Lean, with strong leadership to guide a remote team of inspectors and technicians.

You will develop robust QA protocols, monitor KPIs, and partner with engineering, production and R&D to reduce defects and enhance product reliability. Excellent communication and problem-solving are essential.

Formación

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in quality assurance within manufacturing, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience implementing ISO 9001 or equivalent quality systems.
• Strong knowledge of SPC, Six Sigma, and Lean Principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven track record leading remote teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage QA strategies across all production stages.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of inspectors and technicians.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and drive improvement actions.
• Oversee calibration and maintenance of QC equipment.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement CAPA.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and regulatory alignment.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and R&D to embed quality in design.
• Present quality performance reports to senior management.
• Promote a proactive quality culture across the organization.
