Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced and highly analytical Quality Assurance Lead to spearhead quality control initiatives in the manufacturing sector. This fully remote role requires deep knowledge of quality management systems, SPC, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.

You will lead a remote team, drive CAPA actions, and collaborate with engineering, production and R&D to embed quality into all phases of development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years in quality assurance within manufacturing, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Proven experience implementing ISO 9001 or similar QMS.
• Strong knowledge of SPC, Six Sigma and Lean principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage quality assurance strategies for manufacturing processes.
• Monitor quality metrics and KPIs; analyze data for improvements.
• Lead a remote team of inspectors and technicians.
• Oversee calibration and maintenance of QC equipment.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement CAPA actions.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality in design and development.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce scrap and rework.
• Present quality performance reports to senior management.
• Promote quality culture and training across the organization.
