Placements24 is seeking a Remote Purchasing Coordinator to manage procurement operations from anywhere in South Africa, with oversight for inventory and supplier relations in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. This fully remote role requires excellent communication and proactive problem-solving to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.

You will process purchase orders, liaise with suppliers, monitor stock levels, and maintain organized records in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain support.
• Proficiency with purchasing software and ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, essential for remote collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders using the company's procurement system.
• Communicate with national and international suppliers to place orders and track shipments.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment with suppliers.
• Resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, or supplier discrepancies.
• Maintain digital records of procurement activities and supplier communications.
