Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Purchasing Specialist to join the procurement team from anywhere in South Africa. You will manage day-to-day purchasing activities, sourcing materials and services while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure goods and services in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers, ensuring they meet quality and reliability standards.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers for both routine and ad-hoc purchases.
• Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
