About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding international corporation, is actively seeking a skilled and dynamic Remote Purchasing Manager to lead its strategic sourcing initiatives. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings across all categories of spend. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for our client's global operations, with a strong emphasis on innovation and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, ethical, and performance standards.
• Negotiate favourable contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements with suppliers.
• Manage existing supplier relationships, fostering collaboration and ensuring continuous improvement.
