Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Property Development Coordinator to support development projects across South Africa, with a focus on the Free State. This fully remote role requires organizing cross-functional teams, coordinating with consultants and authorities, and managing documentation in cloud systems.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Property Development, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property development coordination or project management, preferably within South Africa.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in remote collaboration.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track all phases of property development projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and local authorities.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications, permits, and other necessary documentation for projects in the Free State.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, blueprints, schedules, and reports, using cloud-based systems.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and propose solutions.
• Coordinate site visits and inspections when required, arranging logistics for team members or consultants.
• Assist in budgeting and financial tracking for development projects.
• Stay informed about development regulations, zoning laws, and market conditions relevant to the Free State region.
