Placements24 is seeking a Remote Project Coordinator for an international non-profit focused on sustainable economic development. The role spans planning, execution, and monitoring of projects primarily in Mpumalanga, with work-from-home flexibility and strong emphasis on remote collaboration.

You will manage plans, liaise with stakeholders, monitor progress, and prepare reports while supporting procurement and donor compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Economics, Business Admin, International Development).
• Minimum 3 years of project coordination/management experience in development or non-profit.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans, timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate activities ensuring timely milestones.
• Liaise with partners, beneficiaries, and stakeholders to facilitate communication.
• Track progress, identify risks, and propose solutions.
• Prepare progress reports, financial summaries and impact assessments.
• Organize and document meetings, workshops, and training (virtual or in-person).
• Maintain project documentation and ensure donor compliance.
• Support procurement for project-related goods and services.
• Conduct research on economic development trends and best practices.
