About the Role

This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing programs that provide digital literacy training and access to technology for underserved communities. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for technology's role in social equity and a proven ability to manage complex projects in a remote setting. You will play a crucial part in empowering individuals and communities through digital access and education.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for digital inclusion initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage the full lifecycle of remote programs, from conception and planning to implementation and evaluation.
• Oversee budget allocation and management for digital inclusion projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with technology partners, community organizations, and government agencies to support program delivery.
• Lead a geographically dispersed team, providing guidance, support, and performance management.

Requirements

• Proven ability to develop strategic plans, manage budgets, and oversee project execution.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, adapted for a remote environment.
• Experience in developing and implementing M&E frameworks.
• Proficiency in project management software and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Asana).
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and maintain high productivity in a remote setting.
