Placements24 partners with a dynamic non-profit focused on rural development in South Africa. We seek a Program Coordinator to manage initiatives remotely, coordinating planning, implementation and monitoring with local partners and communities near Upington.

Requirements include 3+ years in program coordination, remote team management, and a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Agriculture or Social Sciences. Strong communication, budgeting and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program coordination experience, preferably in rural development.
• Proven ability to manage remote teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working with rural communities and understanding their needs.
• Proficiency with project management tools and virtual collaboration platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Agriculture, Social Sciences or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, implementation and management of rural development programs.
• Facilitate communication between remote teams, stakeholders and communities.
• Monitor progress, identify challenges and implement solutions.
• Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability.
• Build relationships with community leaders, government bodies, and partners.
