Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Program Manager to lead remote community outreach initiatives. You will develop strategic programs, build partnerships with community leaders, and manage budgets and performance metrics to drive measurable impact from a home office within South Africa.

The role requires proven program management experience in the nonprofit sector, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate diverse teams virtually.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in program management , preferably within the non-profit or charity sector.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing outreach or community engagement strategies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a track record of managing multiple priorities successfully.
• Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools and remote work best practices.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Public Administration, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive community outreach strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with community leaders, stakeholders, and partner organizations.
• Oversee program budgets, resource allocation, and performance metrics to ensure effective program delivery.
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of remote volunteers and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Conduct needs assessments and evaluations to identify community needs and measure program impact.
• Create compelling reports and presentations to communicate program progress and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
