Requirements include 3+ years in program coordination, remote team management, and a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Agriculture or Social Sciences. Strong communication, budgeting and analytical skills are essential.

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic non-profit organization committed to rural development in the Northern Cape , is seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator to manage its initiatives remotely. This role is crucial for overseeing the planning, implementation, and monitoring of projects aimed at fostering sustainable development in rural communities, including those in and around Upington . You will work closely with local partners, community members, and the project team to ensure impactful and sustainable outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced coordinator who is passionate about rural empowerment and adept at managing projects from a distance.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning, implementation, and management of rural development programs and projects.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between remote teams, local stakeholders, and community members.
• Monitor project progress, identify challenges, and develop solutions to ensure timely and successful project completion.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability for assigned projects.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local government bodies, and partner organizations.
• Prepare regular progress reports, including data analysis and impact assessments, for internal review and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all project activities align with the organization's mission and objectives for rural development.
