Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Process Simulation Engineer to join their advanced engineering team in a fully remote capacity. You will build and validate dynamic and steady-state models, optimize processes, and analyze results to drive efficiency and safe design for chemical plants from a remote location.
The ideal candidate has a degree in chemical engineering with 4+ years of process simulation experience, proficiency in Aspen Plus, HYSYS, Pro/II, and CHEMCAD, and strong Python/VBA
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of process simulation experience in the chemical industry.
- Proficiency with Aspen Plus, HYSYS, Pro/II, CHEMCAD.
- Programming experience in Python or VBA is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and remote communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and maintain dynamic and steady-state process models.
- Conduct process optimization studies using simulation software to improve efficiency, yield, and safety.
- Perform sensitivity analyses and what-if scenarios to assess process performance under varying conditions.
- Collaborate with design engineers and plant personnel to troubleshoot process issues and implement solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and training on process simulation tools and methodologies.
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing simulation results, analyses, and recommendations.
