Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Chemical Engineer specializing in process simulation to join a global team. The role is fully remote, focusing on optimizing chemical processes and delivering insights from a dispersed workforce.

You will use advanced simulation tools to model complex systems, predict performance, and identify design improvements, supported by a strong foundation in chemical engineering concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 7 years of process simulation and modeling experience.
• Expert-level proficiency with leading process simulation software.
• Strong grasp of thermodynamics, kinetics and unit operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and execute complex process simulations using software such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS or ChemCAD.
• Analyze results to optimize processes, evaluate new designs, and troubleshoot issues.
• Create dynamic models for start-up, shutdown and emergency scenarios.
• Collaborate with global teams and provide simulation support across locations.
• Prepare detailed simulation reports with recommendations for improvements and cost savings.
• Contribute to development of best practices for process simulation.

Key Responsibilities
