Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Industrial Engineer to optimize processes across operations from a home base. The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, Lean and Six Sigma, and remote collaboration to drive efficiency and cost reductions.

Responsibilities include modeling workflows, implementing improvements, and documenting SOPs for remote deployment while coordinating with on-site teams virtually. A Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering and 5+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years in industrial engineering with emphasis on process analysis and optimization.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with simulation and data analysis tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication for virtual collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production and operational processes using remote data tools.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Design optimized workflows and material handling layouts with simulations.
• Collaborate virtually with on-site teams to gather requirements and report findings.
• Monitor KPIs to assess impact and identify further optimization opportunities.
