Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Industrial Process Improvement Engineer to lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, analyzing workflows to boost efficiency and reduce costs while working from a remote location.

You will collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams, develop SOPs, and train staff on new processes, with a focus on sustaining gains and delivering measurable improvements in productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering with a focus on process improvement.
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt required.
• Experience in data analysis, process mapping, and root cause analysis.
• Excellent virtual communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with collaboration tools and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate process improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques.
• Analyze operational data and workflows to identify bottlenecks, waste, and areas for optimization.
• Develop and implement SOPs and best practices for enhanced efficiency.
• Conduct virtual training sessions for team members on new processes and improvement methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams remotely to implement and sustain process changes.
• Monitor the performance of implemented improvements and make necessary adjustments to ensure long-term success.
