Placements24 is seeking a Remote Operations Process Engineer to enhance global efficiency. You will analyze, design, and implement optimized processes across business units, focusing on workflow automation and waste reduction.

Strong background in industrial engineering and data analysis is essential, with remote project management experience. The role emphasizes lean/Six Sigma methods, advanced statistics, and developing comprehensive process documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering or operations management, focusing on process optimization.
• Proven track record in implementing significant process improvements and driving efficiency.
• Lean and Six Sigma expertise; Black Belt certification highly desirable.
• Proficiency in statistical software (R, SPSS, Minitab) and process simulation tools.
• Strong SQL, Python, or other data analysis programming skills.
• Excellent remote communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver results remotely.
• Experience with business process automation tools and methodologies.
• Strong project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current operational processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Design, develop, and implement streamlined workflows and automation solutions.
• Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes and reduce waste.
• Use advanced statistical analysis and modeling to evaluate performance and predict outcomes.
• Develop SOPs, flowcharts, and user guides to document processes.
• Collaborate with remote cross-functional teams including IT, product development, and support.
• Manage multiple process-improvement projects from initiation to completion.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and business cases to senior management.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in operations management.
• Facilitate remote training sessions and workshops for stakeholders on new processes and tools.
