Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Process Improvement Engineer to drive efficiency across manufacturing operations. The role offers remote collaboration with site teams, data-driven decision making, and opportunities to implement Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen initiatives.

You will map processes, generate SOPs, track ROI, and push cost optimization while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders. A strong background in industrial engineering and remote teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in process improvement or operations engineering, preferably in manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for remote stakeholders.
• Experience with project management and handling multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to drive process optimization.
• Create detailed process documentation, flowcharts, and SOPs.
• Collaborate remotely with plant managers, engineers, and operators to gather insights and ensure successful implementation of improvements.
• Track and report on the performance of implemented changes, demonstrating measurable results and ROI.
