Placements24 is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to join a distributed, fully remote team in South Africa. You will analyse current manufacturing and operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement Lean Six Sigma-based solutions to boost productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.

Responsibilities include mapping processes, designing new workflows, developing SOPs, partnering with production, engineering and QA, and tracking ROI to certify measurable gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical/Chemical) or related field.
• Proven experience as a Process Improvement Engineer or similar role with project implementation.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred).

Responsabilités

• Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and wastes.
• Design and implement new or modified processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Map processes, develop SOPs and training materials; track ROI of improvements.
