Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineering Specialist to join a fully remote team supporting Queenstown-area operations and beyond. You will optimize processes, analyze data, and implement efficiency improvements to reduce costs across multiple functions from a distance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial engineering, strong Lean and Six Sigma knowledge, and proficiency in Excel, Python, and R. This role emphasizes remote collaboration and cross-functional engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years in industrial engineering, process improvement, or operations analysis.
• Proficiency in data analysis software (Excel, R, Python) and process modeling tools.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma understanding.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, effective in remote setting.
• Experience with project management and stakeholder engagement in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for streamlining and automation using industrial engineering principles.
• Develop detailed process maps, flowcharts, and SOPs for complex operations.
• Utilize data analytics and statistical tools to measure process performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Recommend and implement solutions for efficiency gains, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and ensure successful implementations.
