Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing operations from a home-based setup. The role focuses on process design, simulation, and analysis to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and drive operational excellence across multiple lines.

You will work independently with remote teams, develop SOPs and control plans, and contribute to strategic manufacturing improvements while enjoying full remote flexibility and a competitive bonus structure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in process modeling and simulation software (Arena, AnyLogic, or similar).
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical analysis.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and autonomously in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Design, develop, and implement new or modified production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Utilize process simulation software to model and test proposed changes before implementation.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, flowcharts, and control plans.
Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless process integration and implementation.
Monitor process performance and troubleshoot issues remotely, recommending and implementing solutions.
