Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive and experienced Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer to contribute to innovative production strategies. This fully remote role lets you work from anywhere while driving critical advancements in manufacturing operations.

You will design, analyze, and optimize processes to boost efficiency, quality, and cost metrics, collaborating with on-site and remote teams to achieve operational excellence from a distance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering.
• Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and SPC.
• Experience with process simulation software and CAD tools for design and analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to work remotely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and redesign manufacturing processes to improve throughput, yield, and OEE.
• Develop and implement new manufacturing technologies and methodologies.
• Create and maintain PFDs, P&IDs, and SOPs.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, and production for smooth product introductions.
• Utilize data analytics and SPC to monitor performance and drive decisions.
